Joe Martin brings 44 years’ experience serving national health associations for hospitals, health financing and oral health.. His focus is supporting the strategic decision-making work of top leadership teams. This work has enriched Joe’s insights to strengthening organizations through public policy, strategic planning, external alliances, diversity, and leadership education. Joe also serves on the board of a domestic violence agency.
Joe has a master’s degree in hospital and health services administration from the Ohio State University and a bachelor’s from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he also met his wife Cheryl. From their six kids and five grandkids, Joe and Cheryl keep learning about the many ways in which people with diverse occupations and interests make life better for others. With Association Options, Joe will bring his expertise to Board training, organizational assessments, research and other special projects.
