BJ Colvin began his career as a Software Developer and Telecommunications Administrator. During his IT career, he began to volunteer with several industry associations actively. His passion for continual learning and improvement has led him to become a student of governance best practices. BJ has focused on methods for running effective and efficient meetings and developing high-functioning volunteer leader pipelines. He brings an insider’s view on governance and board development with experience serving in several different roles on multiple boards. BJ can often be found either working on his 3D printer or reading to his daughter in his free time. He holds an AAB in Human Resources and a BS in Information Technology Management and is currently completing his Masters in Information Technology Management.
